May saw a major company milestone with the launch of our brand new company logo. In designing our new logo it was very important to consider the company history and the colour schemes so we have taken the old fashioned, kept the heritage and given it a modern twist and feel. The logo with the green backing and yellow lettering will be used primarily for all site signage and company vehicles and the logo with the white background and green lettering, the colour reverse will be used elsewhere. Extensive market research was undertaken prior to this change. Many of our customers were consulted and feedback received such as the logo is dated; difficult to read; been around too long and old fashioned. What was very encouraging was our customers views that the culture and ethos of the business must not change however the logo certainly needed updating.
Finally our site hoardings will also have a different colour scheme that will show off the new site signage. Amongst the feedback received was a comment about our sites, that, in the main they were anonymous and difficult to recognise. The colour scheme and logo will change all of this and our sites, which are our shop window will now be very easily recognisable
