Contract: JCT Design & Build (2016)
A ten-unit scheme on behalf of the Guinness Partnership Ltd, to be built on a 0.38 hectare parcel of unused land in East Grinstead, previously owned by Mid Sussex District Council.
The scheme will provide 6 x three-bed houses and 4 x two-bed houses, all in semi-detached pairs. The development mix comprises 7 units for affordable rental and 3 units for shared ownership purchase.
The design of the site has been influenced by the surrounding development, whilst preserving the character of the site, including preserving all trees to provide a natural screen.
They will be traditionally built, with multi stock cream/buff brickwork, with light grey uPVC windows, frames, and rainwater goods. Roofs will be grey fibre cement slate, with grey dormers to the second floor bedrooms.
