Litten Terrace Chichester, West Sussex
Seward Properties appointed W. Stirland with the demolition of two dilapidated bungalows, and the new build of four houses and two bungalows.
The site was on a busy residential street in the centre of Chichester.
Architect: RJCA Chartered Architects
Engineer: Rushby Brewster
Client Agent: Tarmarside
The four houses were constructed using traditional masonry techniques and the two bungalows using timber frame for the main structure and roof.
The bungalows benefit from Sedum lining on the roof to enhance the ecological value of the site. All six properties use the latest MVHR (mechanical ventilation heat recovery) technology to recycle the heat within each unit whilst maintaining fresh air for healthy living benefits.
