In 2013 the Housing Development team at Waverley Borough Council started to plan an ambitious investment programme for Ockford Ridge, near Guildford, to improve the estate for the benefit of existing residents and future generations. As part of this regeneration programme, W.Stirland were appointed for the design and build of 16 affordable housing units (6 x two/three-bedroom houses and 10 x one/two-bedroom flats).

We are proud to have achieved very high standards of finish within the budget, with soft-close kitchen cabinets, higher specification flooring and Eternit external cladding.

W.Stirland is committed to local involvement. We are working with Waverley Borough Council and the community to bring some real benefits to Ockford Ridge. The project includes help with the annual maintenance of St Marks Centre and the Scout and Guide HQ and supporting cycling training at Green Oak School.
