We were appointed by Southern Development Services Ltd (Southern Housing Group) to design and construct a mixed use development at Roman Road in Hove.

The site was formerly occupied by a car sales premises until 2003, and was purchased by Southern Housing Group in 2008. Roman Road lies just above the Hove seafront, close to the border of Portslade-by-Sea and Hove.

This new 3-storey development is a mixed use scheme of eight apartments above ground floor offices. The ground floor also accommodates the entrance lobby to the apartments and access to bike and bin stores.

The development includes 4 x one-bedroom flats and 4 x two-bedroom flats built for open market rental.

External works included the provision of 15 car-parking spaces, bike stores, waste and recycling store, and hard and soft landscaping.
