Roussillon Park Chichester, West Sussex
We were appointed by Zero C to design and build Phase 2 at Roussillon Park, previously the home to the Royal Sussex Regiment and the Royal Military Police.
The project consisted of 54 residential units in a mixture of private and affordable housing and flats.
The affordable element consisted of 17 houses and 6 flats for HASTOE Housing Association.
Architect: PWP Architects
Engineer: Dixon Hurst Kemp
M&E Consultant: PRS Plumbing and Heating
The project was carefully planned to reduce environmental impact and make particular use of sustainable construction methods and technology, particularly with regard to renewable energy production.
The units exhibit architectural and build quality and carefully reflect the local vernacular of Chichester with use of high quality brick, local flint, clay tile and slate roofs.
Internal spaces will allow for future conversion, adaptation and extension, and adopt Lifetime Homes standards throughout.
