The properties were of timber-frame construction, employing an alternative foundation solution from ‘Abbey Pynford’. High levels of insulation, traditional exterior finishes, double-glazed windows and doors and PV panels were employed to provide lower running costs.
The works included the diversion of a watercourse and extensive landscaping including the reinstatement of a public right of way, which required the addition of a new pedestrian bridge.
