The design and build of the last remaining site on the Southern Gate Office Village in Chichester. Block B comprises three separate three-storey blocks each providing 465 SqM of high-quality, flexible, open-plan office space, together with car-parking and cycle storage areas.
Architect: The Seaman Partnership
Engineer: Stephen Wilson Partnership
Client Agent: Baqus Group
The steel-framed office blocks have been built on piled foundations adjacent to the main Chichester/Portsmouth railway line. Building in such close proximity to the railway required constant liaison with Network Rail to enable their inspection and approval of all works.
The interior spaces are open-plan and entirely flexible, for sub-division as required. The buildings required in-situ poured concrete floors with raised access floors above, full data installation provision, and the installation of three hydraulic passenger lifts.
BREEAM rated Very Good.
