Hampshire County Council (HCC) has appointed W Stirland to its multi-million pound, four-year Intermediate Construction Framework which will deliver local authority building projects up to £4 million across Hampshire, the Isle of Wight and Reading. The framework will also be offered to other Public Sector Authorities in Berkshire and Surrey and is due to start in August this year. We are one of 10 successful contractors appointed to the framework. Most of the projects are expected to be in the education sector. The framework is also available for use by Fire, Police and NHS authorities. We are currently one of seven contractors on the West Sussex County Council Construction & Property Framework where we have been working on no less than five education projects across the county.  We also work with Surrey County Council on their 'Schools Expansion Programme' where we are constructing a new teaching block and extended hall at Worplesdon Primary School near Guildford. HCC has previously developed and run a range of regional construction frameworks since 2005 on behalf of itself and other authorities across the South East, which have delivered over £2.5 billion of projects for over 100 authorities and other public sector organisations.
